Grabbing a healthy meal while on the go isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do. While most fast food joints now offer some kind of salad, the salad options at these restaurants are limited, and even so, the salads are often packed with sodium and offer very little in the way of protein or usable energy for the body. For anyone looking for more options that will not only satisfy their hunger but keep their body energized, five new restaurants will help address this in the coming months.
Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe, a healthy fast food chain out of Northern California, recently agreed to open five new restaurants right here in Tucson. While there are over 120 locations around the United States, these will be the first five to hit the Old Pueblo. Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe is under the same management as the F45 Training gyms that have opened here in Tucson recently as well. Unlike other gyms in the area, F45 is geared towards customized training systems, exercises, as well as assisting members with enhanced wellness, which does include dietary insights.
Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe is all about cutting the unwanted gunk out of fast food and focusing on foods and ingredients that will enhance anyone’s diet. The menu offers everything from bowls to smoothies, wraps, salads, and juices. Guests will not find fatty or deep-fried foods here. Guests ordering a bowl can either build their own from scratch or order one of the established menu bowls. For example, the Vitality Bowl comes with a base blend of bananas, strawberries, organic flaxseed, organic acai berries, and Vitality Bowls’ signature blend. Guests can then add toppings that include honey, bananas, more strawberries and bananas, organic granola, organic goji, and a wide list of berries. The different bowls are focused on different goals for the body. There is a bowl to help with all-day stamina, or a protein-packed bowl to help build and repair muscle.
In terms of wraps and sandwiches, there are all kinds of options as well. Some of the wraps and sandwiches to choose from including a Morning Glory (tomato, basil, scrambled eggs, goat cheese, and other ingredients), Vitality Wrap (hummus, avocado, super green blend, roasted potatoes, lemon tahini vinaigrette, and garlic aioli), Superseed Avocado Toast, Peanut Butter and Chia Toast, and others.
There is no exact date set for the five new locations to open, nor are there selected locations. However, many will likely open near the current F45 Training gyms. To stay up to date on when these locations will begin opening to the public, make sure to follow Vitality Bowls Superfood Cafe’s Facebook page.
